“Our breaker tripped and when I reset it the ceiling fan wasn’t working. I took down the fan and checked the flow of electricity to it — none. I pulled the wall switch and it had electricity. It was a problem in the line from the wall switch to the ceiling fixture. Uh, oh.
I called Wilshore. They were prompt and professional. They removed the old, burned out line and fished new lines (an additional neutral line to enable future home automation switches). They were responsive and the owner himself came out to do the estimate in a timely manner–other companies didn’t bother to call back or scheduled estimate walk-through weeks later. They recognized the problems with our outdated electrical infrastructure and came up with good solutions. Two employees worked for two full days and got everything done. The owner stopped by to make sure we were happy with the work as it was going on. They were all very friendly and professional. The estimate was accurate for the larger part of the job, and the other part (installing lighting fixtures) was billed for time and materials, which was clearly stated on the estimate. “Met with Jon to discuss the work that we wanted/needed done. He listened, asked questions to clarify the needs, then made (good) suggestions about how things could be done better. Then after we selected them to do the work, we scheduled the days for the work (they seemed quite willing to be accommodating with the scheduling, offering options on the order of work and days, but as it turned out the one he thought would be the best as far as workflow was the one that fit into my schedule the best as well). Both Jon and the two electricians that did the installation were friendly and professional.
